KP: (Relief activities underway in rain-hit areas of KP)

ISLAMABAD: Relief activities are in full swing in rain and storm hit areas of Peshawar, Charsadda and Nowshera.

According to a senior official of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA), it (PDMA) distributed 900 tents, 100 blankets and 250 food packages among the rain and storm affected people in Peshawar.

The PDMA’s Director General along with relief teams also visited torrential rain affected areas of Charsadda and Nowshera on Tuesday to supervise the relief activities. The PDMA has dispatched two teams each to Charsadda and Nowshera for assessment of houses damaged by the storm and rain.
