KU cancels admissions

KARACHI: University of Karachi’s Director of Admissions Prof Dr Khalid Iraqi has notified that the admissions of three students in Masters/Diploma Evening Program 2015-16 have been cancelled after their mark sheets were found forged/tempered on verification from the Department of Examination.

In a statement on Wednesday, he said admissions of Syed Shahid Iqbal bearing form no 2356 from Department of Criminology, Asad Ali bearing form no 1559 from Department of Public Administration, Maria Ahmed bearing form no 4378 from Department of Chemistry were cancelled.

He said the action would be taken against feudalists and further investigation is underway to check out other student’s documentations if they have taken admissions on the basis of fake documents in the university.
