Land record computerization being carried out speedily: Shoaib

KARACHI: On the instructions of Sindh chief minister, the process of computerizing Provincial Land Department record is being carried out speedily, said Commissioner Karachi and senior member Sindh Board of Revenue Shoaib Ahmed Siddiqui while addressing a meeting with the board’s members at Revenue House Karachi.

Member Reforms and Settlement Zulfiqar Ali Shah, member Judicial Abdul Raheem Soomro, member Project Management Unit Aijaz Shah, Secretary Sindh Board of Revenue Ghazanfar Shah and Project Director Zulfiqar Nizamani were also present on the occasion.

Siddiqui told the meeting that service centres were being established in all the districts of the province for convenience of people.

“A service centre is already operational in Hyderabad, while completion of work on various other service centres in other districts of the province is being completed swiftly,” he said.

He instructed the officers of the board to promptly remove all obstacles and hindrances in the process of providing computerized registration for genuine owners of property in order to eliminate any fraudulent or deceptive activity.

Furthermore, Siddiqui affirmed that the government of Sindh was relentlessly making efforts to contribute towards convenience of people and the service centres were one such clear evidence of the intent.
