Light intensity quake jolts Quetta

QUETTA: A light intensity tremor shook Quetta Valley and adjoining areas Saturday.

According to details an earthquake of light magnitude hit Quetta and adjoining areas at 1146 hours during the day today. It created fear and panic among the people who came out of their houses and other places.

When contacted, Seismic Centre Islamabad told PPI that a 4.0 intensity earthquake hit Quetta valley and adjoining areas. Its epicentre was located 90 Km northeast of Quetta in Kach area. Its depth was 10 Km.

There was no report of any damage to injury to anybody. It however created fear and panic among the people who came to open from their houses, shops and other places.
