Liquid foreign reserves reach US$18,598.0 million

KARACHI: State Bank of Pakistan on Thursday announced that the total liquid foreign reserves held by the country stood at US$18,598.0 million on 04 September 2015. The break-up of the foreign reserves position is as under:-

Foreign reserves held by the State Bank of Pakistan are US$ 13,555.7 million; Net foreign reserves held by banks are US$ 5,042.3 million; and total liquid foreign reserves are US$18,598.0 million.

During the week ending 04 September2015, SBP’s Liquid FX Reserves increased by US$95 million to US$13,556 million, compared to US$13,461 million in the previous week.
