Liquid foreign reserves recorded at $19,819.3 million

KARACHI: State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) on Thursday announced that the total liquid foreign reserves held by the country stood at US$19,819.3 million on 27 November 2015.

The break-up of the foreign reserves position is as under: Foreign reserves held by SBP are US$14,787.3 million; Net foreign reserves held by banks stood US$5,032.0 million and total liquid foreign reserves reached US$19,819.3 million.

During the week ending 27 November 2015, SBP’s Liquid FX Reserves increased by US$110 million to US$14,787 million, compared to US$14,677 million in the previous week. During the week, SBP received US$ 114 million from multilateral, bilateral and other official sources.
