Maintenance shutdown deprives Karachiites of water

KARACHI: Water crisis-hit Karachiites were again troubled on Monday due to incompetence of K-Electric and Karachi Water & Sewerage Board for providing the citizens an alternative in case of power failure or maintenance shutdown. The citizens have to face such situation from time to time.

The already suffering citizens had to face 140 million gallon more water shortage as KE was carrying out maintenance of Dhabeji grid station’s transformer. Nine water pumps in Dhabeji could not be operational for eight hours. Meanwhile, KWSB got busy in repairing water leakages.
