Malik hopeful for peace restoration in Balochistan

KARACHI: Chief Minister Balochistan Abdul Malik Baloch on Tuesday revealed that soon a major breakthrough would be achieved for improving Balochistan peace and for this he has already started contacts with core personalities of Balochistan like Khan of Kalat and other Baloch leaders. He said the Federation has given him a mandate to talk with annoyed Baloch leaders on the peace issue.

He said this, while addressing a gathering at Karachi Arts Council held to observe death anniversary of Late Mir Ghous Buksh Bizenjo. He said Pakistan is in state of war and it is their endeavour to bring angry youth of Balochistan in to mainstream of Pakistan.

Talking about the Pak China Economic Corridor, he said Balochistan has some reservations on some projects and their revenue sharing.

Son on Late Mir Ghous Buksh Bizenjo Mir Hasil Bizenjo said his party is following ideology of his father. He said the terrorism could not be eliminated without some plausible ideology. He said situation is going worse day by day but it could be addressed through unity.

Senior Minister Sardar Sanaullah Zehri said that he, being a follower of Bizenjo, could say that Bizenjo was among the best politician. Today lots of people have adopted the political ways of Late Bizenjo.

National Party leader Mir Tahir Bizenjo said from the beginning, Late Bizenjo was a patriotic Pakistani. He said it is necessary for Pakistan that to strengthen inter-provincial relationships. He said the till the problems of provinces are resolved the provinces could not be stabilized. The problem of Balochistan would not go away with military operation, he said.

He said had Balochistan problem resolved with sincerity in last six decades then the present situation could have been averted. He said: “We all sides should have to demonstration generosity to resolve the problems.”
