Man deprived of promised job despite donating plot for schools!

RATODERO: A man who donated his ancestral property plot for construction of one boys primary school in his village is still running from pillar to post to get a job promised to him at that time by the education department officials.

Mushtaque Detho, resident of village Detha of Ratodero taluka told PPI here on Sunday that he donated his plot measuring about 3000 sq ft for establishing a boys primary school for the benefit of the poor villagers and in return he was promised one job of security guard but he is still waiting for the positive response of the education department bosses of Larkana.

He said he had handed over revenue record rights and other related documents to the Director primary education but he is playing delaying tactics for which he should be taken to task. Detho said that he also won the petition he filed in the Sindh High Court, Circuit Court, Larkana for seeking his right and it ordered them to issue appointment letter but he is still waiting for it.

He said that over 20 years have passed that school building was constructed and school is working smoothly where over 50 boys are enrolled now and he has gone old from young but his eyes are always looking at the door when the education officers will send him offer letter for a low paid employment. He said thousands of jobs have been given recently to near and dear ones & relatives but those who donated personal plots are still languishing on the pretext of fulfillment of codal formalities which is unjust and must be probed. He demanded the promised job for his son immediately or else, he threatened, he will lock the school in distress as he has no other source of livelihood.
