Man shot dead in Korangi

KARACHI: A man was killed and two others were injured in separate incidents of violence in the city on Tuesday. Some unidentified gunmen opened fire on a car, killing a man, Syed Hassan Zaidi, son of Syed Mehdi Hassan, in Korangi.

The body was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre for medico-legal formalities.

A 30-year-old Noman, son of Javaid, received bullet wounds when unknown people opened fire on him in Mosa Lane, Lyari. The injured was shifted to Civil Hospital Karachi for treatment.

Separately, a man, Sher Zaman, 45, son of Gul Zamin, was hit by a stray bullet at his home near Gol Market in Nazimabad. He was rushed to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for treatment.
