Marriage hall owners asked to follow time

KARACHI: Commissioner Karachi Shoaib Ahmed Siddiqui warned that operation would be carried out against the marriage hall owners who did not close halls till 12:00am. He said this while talking to a delegation headed by President Marriage Hall Association at his office.

The delegation promised that government orders would be followed completely and marriage halls would be closed until 12:00am. The delegation expressed approval and support with the commissioner’s order.

Siddiqui said that SITE association and Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry had also demanded to finish marriage ceremonies in the halls before 12:00am, so that electricity could be saved and issues of security and late arrivals at homes could be resolved.
