Members not satisfied with ministers’ answers: Mahar

Karachi: The leader of the opposition in Sindh Assembly Mohammad Shaharyar Khan Mahar here Monday said the opposition members were not satisfied with the illusive answers of the ministers during questions and answer hours.

He was talking on a point of order during question hour.

During the question hour, treasury members took an exception of PML-F lawmaker Nusrat Bano Seher Abbassi for use of words of ‘interior Sindh’. However, the opposition benches also took exception of minister of local government Sharjeel Inam Memon when he told the house that budget is made by assembly members.

Shaharyar Khan Mahar and other opposition members said that Sindh assembly members never draft budget nor they are consulted during budget-making process of the provincial government departments.
