Mild earthquake felt in coastal areas

KARACHI: A mild earthquake measuring 2.0 on Richter scale hit Sindh’s coastal area on Tuesday morning.

According to sources, the earthquake hit Sindh at 10:46pm and felt in Ibrahim Haidri, Korangi, Chakra Goth and nearby areas of Karachi.

The metrological department said it was a mild earthquake measuring 2.0 on Richter scale. Due to tremors panicked people came out from their homes; however, no loss of life or property was reported.
