Minister: (74 % work on Neelum-Jhelum Hydro Power project completed: Abid)

ISLAMABAD: Minister of State for Water and Power Abid Sher Ali has said that 74 percent work of Neelum Jhelum power plant has been completed and it will start generating electricity by June 2017.

He said this during his visit to the Neelum Jhelum Hydro Power project on Thursday. He said the project was delayed due to flawed planning of previous governments. He said completion of the project would help overcome power shortage in the country.
