Minister: (Dar orders to prepare recommendations to address farmers’ problems)

ISLAMABAD: Finance Minister Ishaq Dar has directed the officials concerned for preparing recommendations for helping the farmers’ community in the country.

Chairing a meeting here on Wednesday, he said the recommendations would be submitted to the Prime Minister for consideration.

The meeting discussed the issues and difficulties being faced by the farmers’ community in the country. The meeting, which was also attended by the Minister for Food Security Sikandar Hayat Khan Bosan and senior officials of the Ministries of Finance and Food Security, had detailed deliberations on problems of farmers in the wake of falling prices of commodities in the domestic and international market.
