Minister: (Exports to EU cross billion dollar mark in 10 months)

ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Commerce Khurram Dastgir Khan on Thursday said that despite difficulties, Pakistan has crossed the target of one billion dollars exports to the European Union in merely 10 months under the GSP Plus scheme.

In an interview, he said the figures are encouraging especially for the value added textile sector as its exports to the EU have shown 25% growth. He said new textile policy will be approved in 15 days for implementation.
