Minister: (Govt striving to promote sports: Dar)

ISLAMABAD: Finance Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar has said that government will allocate reasonable funds in the next budget for sports, particularly hockey.

Talking to newsmen after awarding trophies to winner and runner-up teams of the 2015 Margalla Cup Polo tournament here on Monday, the minister said that government was striving to promote sports and healthy activities in the country.

He said government desires that hockey should regain its past glory and will extend all support in this regard.
