Talking to PPI, Qaimkhani said that she was travelling towards Sanghar to attend an open Kachehry on the directives of PPP leader and former president Asif Ali Zardari when his car hit a parked tractor trolley on the road.

The incident occurred one kilometer away from Sanghar when her cousin, who was driving the car, took a turn behind a trawler and hit a standing vehicle on road.
