Minister: (Minister directs DC Bannu to take actions against people involved in illegal gratification)

ISLAMABAD: Taking the notice of the complaints by TDPs/IDPs regarding charging of illegal amount by some shopkeepers upon withdrawal of cash and on the directions of Prime Minister of Pakistan, Mian Mohammad Nawaz Sharif, the Federal Minister for States and Frontier Regions Let. Gen (r) Abdul Qadir Baloch on Tuesday directed Deputy Commissioner Bannu to take actions against people who are involved in illegal gratification in connection with cash disbursement to TDPs/IDPs.

DC Bannu arrested eleven shopkeepers of Zong franchise and were sent to jail. A special team on the directions of Minister SAFRON was constituted to investigate the matter further.

DG FDMA has also been deputed to Bannu to ascertain details for actions against culprits. The minister has further said that there will be no compromise on any issue regarding the provision of assistance and facilitation to IDPs.
