Minister: (MoU signed with Chinese company for construction of two highways)

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with a Chinese Company for construction of highways from Hyderabad to Sukkur and Khanewal to Lahore.

Talking to a news channel on Thursday, Defence Minister Khawaja Mohammad Asif said that it would provide modern travelling facilities to the commuters and help in rapid development of the region.

To a question, the Minister said that work on Neelum-Jhelum project has been expedited and on completion it would help meet the energy shortage.
