Minister: (Pakistan most affected by extremism, terrorism: Rana Tanveer)

ISLAMABAD: Minister for Defence Production Rana Tanveer Hussain has called upon the neighbouring countries to play due role in eradication of terrorism in the region.

In an interview on Sunday, he said development and prosperity are linked with peace. He said operation Zarb-e-Azb has been launched with national consensus.

He said Pakistan is the most affected country by extremism and terrorism. To a question, the minister said operation against miscreants is being taken without discrimination as per National Action Plan (NAP). He said steps are also being taken to secure vulnerable points at border with Afghanistan.
