Minister: (Rangers’ special powers granted as per Sindh govt’s demand: Rashid)

ISLAMABAD: Information Minister Pervaiz Rashid has said that Rangers are carrying out operation in Karachi exercising the special powers granted to them as per Sindh government’s demand.

In an interview here on Tuesday, he said the federal government had accepted the Sindh government’s demands, including extension of Rangers’ special powers for sixty days under the Anti-Terrorism Act. He said the federal government respects the mandate of the Sindh

people.
