Minister: (Regional peace imperative for economic progress: Ahsan)

ISLAMABAD: Minster for Planning and Development Ahsen Iqbal on Sunday said that regional peace is imperative for economic progress in the country.

The Minister was talking to different delegations in Makkah Mukarramah. He said China-Pakistan Economic Corridor has multiplied responsibilities of Pakistan. He said the project has enhanced strategic importance of the country in the region.

He said new projects in energy and infrastructure will give a boost to economic activities. He said Pakistan has the potential to join the top twenty five economies of the world by 2025.

He said the government is providing all possible financial assistance to the youth to enable them contribute to national progress.
