Minister: (Sardar Yousaf emphasizes int’l legislation against blasphemy)

ISLAMABAD: Minister for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony Sardar Mohammad Yousaf on Sunday stressed the need for international legislation against blasphemy for lasting peace in the world.

Addressing Universal Peace and Harmony, he said any person, who is against the state and humanity is terrorist and the government is committed to eradicate militancy.

The minister said foes of humanity have no religion and there should be no leniency for them. He said National Commission for Minorities has been established to help resolve problems being faced by minorities in the country.

He said basic teachings of every religion are love for humanity and the government is doing all possible efforts for interfaith harmony. He said everyone should respect life and faith of others.
