Minister: (Significant improvement in education sector noted: Baligh)

ISLAMABAD: Minister of State for Federal Education Mohammad Baligh-ur-Rehman has said that a significant improvement in education sector of all the provinces was noted which should be acknowledged.

In a interview on Monday, he said all the provinces have allocated more than one fourth of their budgets for education. He said education was provincial matter after the 18th Amendment, however federation was coordinating for better results.

He said government had started the work to achieve Sustainable Development Goals and committees were also constituted in this regard.

To a question, he said National Action Plan was prepared with the consultations of all stakeholders to achieve success against terrorism. He said whole nation including the Ulema are united against extremism and terrorism.
