Minister: (TI’s report has verified transparency in Pakistan: Pervaiz)

ISLAMABAD: Information Minister Pervaiz Rashid has said that Transparency International (TI) in its recent report, had rejected the claims of Imran Khan about increasing corruption in the country.

In an interview on Thursday, he said this report has verified the improvement and transparency in Pakistan. He said Chairman Pakistan Tehreek- e-Insaf Imran Khan is using delaying tactics in a case filed by the founding member of PTI about fund raising from abroad for the party.

The minister said that Pakistan Muslim League- Nawaz had reservations about the Election Commission of Pakistan’s lawyer, who supported the arguments of PTI’s counsel in the court. He said law enforcement agencies are fighting against terrorism to make the country secure and peaceful.
