Ministers, MPAs visit flood dykes

SEHWAN SHARIF: Sindh’s Finance Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah, Forest Minister Gayanchand Esrani, MNA Malik Asad Sikandar; and MPA Sikandar Shoro and Faqir Dad Khoso visited Dadu-Moro Bridge on Sunday to review flood water position in Indus River. They were accompanied by top police and other officials.

Talking to newsmen, they said that condition of Indus River’s banks is satisfactory. They said that another high flood deluge is expected to pass through Guddu Barrage within couple of days, which would exert pressure on the dykes.

Malik Asad Sikandar told media that there is high flood in Indus, hence, there is need to take protective measures. Commissioner Hyderabad Syed Asif Hyder Shah briefed about flood position.
