Monitoring officer Swat warns heads of all district departments to complete development schemes on time

Peshawar: Secretary Transport Khyber Pakhtunkhwa & Monitoring Officer for District Swat Captain ® Sardar Mohammad Abbas has warned the heads of all District Departments to ensure the completion of developmental schemes in their respective Departments within the stipulated time and according to the specified standards, otherwise strict legal action would be taken against the responsible persons.

He was presiding over a meeting of the District Officers including Health, Education, Agriculture, irrigation, PHE, and all other national building departments at D.C Office Swat on Wednesday. On this occasion, Deputy Commissioner Mahmood Aslam was also present.

The Monitoring Officer was briefed in detail by the heads of Education. Health, C & W, Police, Agriculture, Social welfare, Population welfare, NHA, Tourism and other departments.

The monitoring officer on the occasion said that the Provincial Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa was extremely serious about the standard of the developmental projects being completed for the welfare of the people that was why a secretary of the Provincial Govt. was appointed as a monitoring officer in each of the twenty-six Districts.

He advised the Officers to ensure satisfactory completion of all developmental schemes in their respective departments so that the people could benefit from the schemes prepared for their welfare.

It may be mentioned that the monitoring officer will also carry out surprise visits of random schemes in various parts of the Districts ,will hold meetings with the Elders of community during his current three days visit and submit detailed report to the Provincial Government.
