KARACHI: A four member delegation of the Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs Pakistan (INL-P), embassy of United States of America called on Inspector General of Police (IGP) Sindh Ghulam Haider Jamali on Saturday at Central Police Office.
The delegation was headed by Director INL-Pakistan Alberto Rodriguez. The delegation discussed in detail the strengthening and expansion of Command and Control Center, CPO for better surveillance and monitoring. The delegation expressed its commitment to assist expansion of the surveillance project, by all means.
At this occasion, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was also mutually agreed and signed. According to the signed MoU, 2000 more cameras would be installed in 400 new indentified locations of the city. Moreover, Zonal Command & Control Center would also be established in Karachi and remained in direct link with Central Command & Control Center at CPO. The expansion project would be launched shortly.
The delegation also visited command & Control Center in CPO & appreciated the endeavors of Sindh Police in this regard.
