KARACHI: MQM members in the Sindh Assembly have strongly condemned the provincial education department for not coming up with a clear policy for admissions in government colleges and the unavailability of admission forms to students.
In a statement, the MQM MPAs said that the admission process had started since 1st August but the students were facing untold difficulties in obtaining the admission forms. They said that the Provincial Education Minister Nisar Ahmed Khuhro was apprised of the problems being faced by the students in getting the admission forms but nothing was done to solve their problems.
They appealed to Governor Sindh Dr Ishratul Ebad and Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah to take urgent notice of the situation for saving the academic year of students. The MQM MPAs said that the admission policy must ensure merit.
