KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) has confirmed arrest of its chief Altaf Hussain by Scotland Yard and said that he was taken to police station in London for interview.
In a statement issued on Tuesday, MQM Coordination Committee said that Altaf Hussain was present in a London police station along with his lawyers. The committee said that doctors of London police were also present in the station who would examine the health of MQM chief. It said that the final decision regarding Altaf Hussain’s interview to London police would be decided after police doctors’ report on Altaf Hussain’s health.
