Mumbai police to file FIR against Shah Rukh Khan

KARACHI: The Child commission on Friday directed the Mumbai police to file a first information report (FIR) against actor Shah Rukh Khan in a 2012 IPL case in which he had got into a brawl with security guard at Wankhede stadium.

The commission has directed the police file a FIR under sections of the Indian Penal code and under the Juvenile Justice (Care & Protection) Act, 2006. The commission has also ordered an enquiry “for not registering F.I.R. in this matter”.

Advocate Abha Singh confirmed that an order was passed by the child’s commission in the case.
