Munir crowned CNS Open Golf Champion

Karachi: Mohammad Munir outshined his counterparts almost in all four rounds to eventually finish on top of the table in professionals’ event of CNS Open Golf Championship, which concluded on Sunday here at Karachi Golf Club.

On the final day on Sunday, Munir scored four under par 72 to subsequently finish the tournament totalling 21 under par 288. Shahid Javed Khan secured second spot with an accumulated score of 18 under par 288.

Defending champion Shabbir Iqbal, after a lacklustre show in the first round, where he scored two over par 72, bounced strongly back to finish on third place on the podium with a score of 13 under par 288.
