SIALKOT: Chairman Senate Standing Committee on Defence Mushahid Hussain Syed has asked the government to adopt a very bold stance against Indian border aggression, besides, taking up and highlighting the burning issue of hostilities of Indian Border Security Forces (BSF) and unprovoked intensified heavy Indian shelling along the Sialkot Working Boundary on all the international forums.
He said this while talking to the newsmen at Indian shelling hit Sialkot border villages Joiyaan, Umeraanwali, Raja Harpal, Dhamaal and Charwah along the Sialkot Working Boundary after meeting the local Indian shelling affectees here Wednesday.
He said it was the good time for Pakistan to take up Indian border aggression to UNO and even in the coming SAARC Summit being held in Kathmandu-Nepal next month.
He urged the World to take serious notice of the Indian BSF hostilities and killings of the Pakistani citizens by targeting the civilian population in Sialkot border villages along the Sialkot Working Boundary here.
The whole Pakistani nations demands the bold stance against ongoing Indian war aggression and PM Nawaz Sharif has full support of the nation in this burning issue, he added.
The delegates including senators Mushahid Hussain Syed and Mohsin Khan Leghari met with the local Indian shelling affected people and knew their problems being faced by them after the recent spells of unprovoked intensified heavy mortal shelling by the Indian BSF.
Mushahid Hussain Syed termed Indian shelling on Sialkot border villages along the Sialkot Working Boundary a well-planned international anti Pakistan conspiracy and said that the Indian Border Security Forces (BSF) were killing the innocent Pakistani citizens by targeting the civilian population, violating all the international laws. He said that the Indian war aggression was increasing day by day after the Moodi Government’s becoming into power.
Earlier, Director General Pakistan Rangers Punjab Maj-Gen Tahir Javaid Khan gave a detailed briefing to the visiting delegation of Senate Standing Committee on Defence about the recent border seas fire violations by Indian Border Security Forces (BSF) along the Sialkot Working Boundary and BSF hostilities.
Sector Commander Chenab Rangers Sialkot Brig Waseem, Sialkot DCO Nadeem Sarwar and senior officials of the Chenab Rangers also attended the briefing.
