NA: (NA Acting Speaker inquires Godil’s health

ISLAMABAD: Acting Speaker National Assembly Murtaza Javed Abbasi on Thursday made a telephonic call to the son of injured member National Assembly Rasheed Godil and inquired about his current health condition and prayed for his early recovery.

Murtaza Javed Abbasi paid tribute to Godil for his bravery and valour for standing against terrorism and admired his services for strengthening of democracy in the country.

“Mr. Godel is a seasoned politician and an active member of the parliament who always stood to protect the rights and welfare of his constituents in particular and of the people of Pakistan in general,” he added.

He expressed hope that Godil would return to the parliament soon to play his active role as a parliamentarian. Godil’s son expressed his gratitude to the Acting Speaker for calling and apprised him about the health condition of his father.

He informed him that Godil’s health is improving, however, the doctors have advised for further medical treatment abroad. He sought assistance of Murtaza Javed Abbasi for his father’s treatment abroad.

Acting Speaker assured his all out support and directed the concerned authorities to complete the procedural formalities and also make necessary arrangements in this regard.
