NAB rounds up 3 BDA officers

QUETTA: National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Balochistan has arrested three officers of Balochistan Development authority (BDA) on charges of corruption.

NAB Balochistan sources said here Tuesday that Assistant General manager Akhtar Hussain Mangi, Assistant General manager Samiullah Tareen and former General Manager and now XEN WASA Mohammad Nasir while perfuming as BDA engineers committed massive embezzlement in the 20 Km Dobandi-Toba Achakzai road and misused their authority.

Dobandi-Toba Achakzai road is link road between Pishin and KIlla Abdullah. Thus they caused Rupees 230 million loss to national kitty.

NAB sources said all the arrests have been made on the basis of evidences. Secret information helped NAB Balochistan for the arrest of these accused which indicated massive bribery and irregularities are at the peak in BDA.
