KARACHI: Former Karachi Nazim Naimatullah Khan on Monday congratulated people of Karachi and Jamaat-e-Islami for successful holding of the Gaza Million March.
“The participation of people in the march on 17 August in the metropolis has proved that they hate Israel and condemn aggression on innocent Palestinians,” he said in a statement.
He said that a large number of children, women, and elders in the march showed their love and solidarity with the people of Palestine.
Naimatullah said Israel was carrying out atrocities on people of Palestine while Muslim leaders had adopted silent over it. “They should break silence, play their due role and get these atrocities stopped,” he urged.
“It is the right of Palestinians to live with peace and freedom. No one can snatch their right.”
He further said condemnation of Israeli aggression by Pakistani government was appreciated, hence, other countries should also condemn it.
