QUETTA: If results of PB-50 Kech-III were changed or notification of success of Akram Dashti was not issued we would hold strong protest all over the country and its responsibility would lay with Election Commission.

This was stated by Senior Vice President National party Tahir Bizenjo, MPA Dr Shama Ishaq Baloch and others while addressing a protest demonstration in front of Press Club here Sunday.

Protest demonstration was organised about results of PB-50.

They said National Party is popular party of people of Balochistan believing in complete trust in democracy. People are witness we have always been flag carriers of fair and transparent elections. They said if Election Commission is impartial it should immediately issue notification of success of Akram Dashti. They said those coming to power through irregularities increase problems of people than resolving them.

They said our workers participated in the elections with great difficulties. Akram Dashti’s house was attacked during electioneering and women and children were frightened. His brother and nephew were abducted. We do not know where they are and under what condition. Despite this we took part in the election which proofs that we believe in democracy. If National Party was pushed to the walls, its outcome would be extremely negative and would not be in the interest of the province. We understand situation in the province has improved after hectic efforts but through such measures it was being deteriorated.
