NED University denounces attack on university students

KARACHI: NED Teachers Association (NETA) on Thursday strongly condemned the brutal terrorist attack on Bacha Khan University Charsadda in Peshawar yesterday.

In a statement, NETA’s President Usman Ali Shah said that ‘we express condolence to the affected families on the loss of innocent lives in the terror incident that occurred last day. He said they believe the attack on teachers, students and employees was against teaching of Islam and the sovereignty of Pakistan.

Usman demanded of the government to tighten the security of educational institutions in Karachi, particularly NED University of Engineering and Technology and also provide safety training to teachers, staff and students so that they could tackle panic situation.
