NETA demands financial help for treatment of ailing teacher

KARACHI: NED Teacher Association’ (NETA) on Thursday appealed to Sindh government to help them in medical treatment of an ailing faculty member, Ms. Dilshad Akbar Ali, who has been hospitalized for last few weeks at a private hospital.

A meeting of the executive committee of NED university teachers association (NETA) was held at the main campus to discuss the health condition of Ms. Dilshad Akbar Ali of the humanities department who is admitted to the Special care unit/ventilator at a private hospital. The members prayed for the early recovery of their colleague. They expressed worry about the huge bill of the costly private hospital.

It was resolved, keeping in view the financial condition of the university, to request the worthy Chancellor/Governor of Sindh and the Chief Minister to lend a hand in bearing the medical expenses of Ms Ali at the private hospital.
