New Year: (Security tightened countrywide on new year celebrations)

ISLAMABAD: Special security measures have been taken in the country to avoid untoward incidents on the eve of New Year celebrations.

According to reports, Sindh government has banned pillion riding at midnight tonight. In Islamabad, 1500 police officials will be deployed at various parts of the city to ensure every possible security.

Meanwhile, security has been stepped up in many cities across Europe ahead of New Year festivities. New Year celebrations in Brussels have been cancelled due to security reasons.
