Nine injured in cracker blast

KARACHI: Nine people, including four women, were injured in a cracker blast near Ayesha Manzil here on Tuesday night.

The blast took place when a majlis was being held at Islamic Research Centre Imambargah near Ayesha Manzil. The blast created panic in the area. Police and rescue sources rushed to the scene and took the situation in control.

The injured were shifted to a nearby hospital. The police cordoned off the area. Unknown men riding motorcycles threw a cracker near Islamic Research Centre and threw cracker and fled to unknown destination.
