Nisar lauds law enforcement agencies commitment in fighting terrorism

Islamabad: Interior Minister Ch. Nisar Ali Khan has expressed satisfaction over the commitment of law enforcement agencies for fighting terrorism and crimes in Karachi.

Talking to Director General Rangers Sindh Major General Rizwan Akhtar in Islamabad on Wednesday, he said operation in Karachi is moving in right direction.

The Minister said momentum gained over the last few months must not be allowed to diminish. He said the targeted operation in Karachi has support of all the peace-loving people of Karachi and we must live up to their expectations.

The Minister said improved coordination between rangers, police and provincial government will go a long way in establishing durable peace in the city.  He said that federal government will provide all necessary resources to law enforcement agencies. DG Rangers briefed the Minister about the ongoing operation in Karachi.
