No decision yet to launch military operation in North Waziristan: Nisar

Islamabad: Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan has said dialogue process with Taliban continues to be the top priority of the government and no decision has been taken to launch military operation in North Waziristan.

In an interview, he said although dialogue process is presently at halt because of infighting among Taliban groups, yet the process has produced positive results.

Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan assured that if there is any change in the policy of dialogue, it would be formally announced.

He said option of a military operation against the militants will be made in consultation with all political parties.
