Oil Tankers Association to stop oil supply for Saindak

QUETTA: All Pakistan Oil Tankers Owners Association has decided to stop supply to Saindak till their four abducted drivers are recovered and they are provided with security.

This was stated by Chairman All Pakistan Oil Tanker Owners Association Mohammad Yusuf Shahwani and Secretary General Mohammad Shafiq Kakar here Thursday.

They said oil supply for Saindak project as it has become insecure. Men and material losses, no compensation so far, recent abduction of four drivers has become intolerable.

They said if any company would supply oil to Saindak it would be responsible for all losses by itself.

In a letter to the Chief Minster association has said insecurity for supply of oil for the Saindka project by the government is surprising. It said recently eight vehicles were destroyed, tyres were burst, terrorists seriously manhandled drivers and abducted four of them with them was intolerable. Their relatives are very much worried. Recovery of Ali Murad, Haji Ghulam Hussain, Hassan and Mehr Din is very much necessary.

It hoped government of Balochistan would arrangement payment of all losses, clear claims and arrange meeting with the Association.
