One killed, five injured in metropolis

KARACHI: One person was killed and five others were injured in different violence incidents here on Monday.

A man, Haji Zahoor, 55, resident of Orangi Town, was gunned down by unidentified armed men near Khulfa-e-Rashideen road in Orangi Town. The body was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital (ASH) for medico-legal formalities.

In another incident, a person, Adil, 33, son of Mohsin, resident of Orangi Town, was stabbed and injured with knife by an unknown person over enmity near Data Nagar in Orangi Town. He was brought ASH for treatment.

Yet in another incident, three persons – Mohammad Ishfaque, 31, son of Mohammad Sardar; Jameel, 25, son of Dawood; and one other unknown man – were injured by unknown armed men near Islam Chowk in Orangi Town. The injured were rushed to ASH for treatment.

Meanwhile, a man, Mohammad Waseem, 30, son of Mohammad Bux, resident of Lyari, was injured in Lyari Gabol Town. The injured were rushed to Civil Hospital Karachi for treatment.
