One killed, one injured in different mishaps

KARACHI: One person was killed and another injured in separate incidents in the city on Sunday. A 20-year-old youth, Wali Ahmed, son of Muhammad Usman, drowned into the sea while swimming near beach in Hawksbay. The rescue volunteers recovered the body and shifted it to Civil Hospital Karachi for medico-legal formalities.

Separately, Abdul Razzaq, aged 55, was injured when a train hit him while he was crossing the railway track near Malir Nadi in Landhi. The injured was brought to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre for treatment.
