One killed, six injured in Karachi violence

KARACHI: A man was killed and six others including three women were injured in different violence incidents in the metropolis on Thursday.

The four-day-old body of a man, bearing torture marks, was recovered from Mawach Goth graveyard. It was shifted to Civil Hospital Karachi for medico-legal formalities.

In another incident, two women, Dilshad, 40, wife of Sajjad, and her daughter, Kainat, 18, were injured when unidentified armed men opened fire on them at Shahi Muhalla in Machhar Colony. They were rushed to CHK for treatment.

A women, Elian, 30, and three children, Sumera, 06, daughter of Murad, Eman, 03, daughter of Murad and Yasmeen, 05, daughter of Rahim Baksh, were injured by unidentified armed men in Kallari, Lyari. The injured were shifted to CHK for treatment.
