One killed, two injured in Karachi violence

KARACHI: A man was killed and two others injured in separate incidents of violence in the city on Friday. An unidentified man, aged 45, was shot dead by unknown armed men near Siddiq Farm on Super Highway.

The body was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center (JPMC) for medico-legal formalities.

A man, Muhammed Aslam, 20, son of Yaqoob, was shot and injured while offering resistance to bandits on Banaras Bridge in Banaras. The injured was brought to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for treatment.

Separately, a youth, Mohsin, 17, son of Ibrahim, was injured when unidentified armed men opened fire on him in Chanesar Goth, Mehmoodabad. The injured was shifted to JPMC for treatment.
