One killed, two injured in road mishaps

KARACHI: A man was killed and two others injured in different road accidents in the city on Wednesday. A 36-year-old man, Syed Hassan, son of Syed Yasin, was killed when an unknown speeding vehicle hit him in Gulshan-e-Maymar near Sunday Market area. The body was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for medico-legal formalities.

Sajid, 30, son of Rafique, was injured when a speeding vehicle hit his motorcycle in Korangi near Vita Chowrangi. The injured was rushed to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre for treatment.

Separately, a 30-year-old man, Khizar, son of Ghaffar, was injured when a speeding car hit him on Jamshed Road near Teen Hatti, as he was crossing the road. He was shifted to Civil Hospital Karachi for treatment.
